Dr. Hanna Kim is a highly skilled dermatologist with expertise in medical dermatology and special interests in surgical and laser cosmetic procedures. Dr. Kim has earned numerous accolades for her quality and patient-centered care. In 2017, she was chosen by her physician peers as a Castle Connelly Top Doctor. Dr. Kim was also named a 2017 Top Doctor by Hudson Valley Magazine.
Dr. Kim attended Yale College where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. She received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, and she completed her dermatology residency at New York University and Boston University/Tufts University. Dr. Kim began her clinical practice as a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty where she taught medical students and dermatology residents and developed her interests in medical and cosmetic dermatology. In 2008, Dr. Kim moved to New York City and joined the dermatology faculty at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine as Assistant Professor and Clinical Director in the Department of Dermatology. Most recently, Dr. Kim has been in private practice in the Hudson Valley region of New York, and she is excited to join CDG in our new Greenwich office.
Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and pilates. She lives in Bronxville, NY with her husband and three children.

Unfortunately, it was a waste of my time. The appointment felt rushed, and my questions were not fully addressed. I didn’t receive a clear explanation for my rash and she acted like she didn’t care about my questions and needs. Overall, I left feeling unheard, disappointed, and frustrated.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Very disappointed with her, felt unknowledgeable, and did not give me any recommendations for my concerns. Her words were literally "I have no recommendations". not even one thing, and it's just for acne! Don't even know how she is a doctor and can't even give an educated guess! Please, no one go to her.

I had a simple appointment for an annual routine mole check. I would have expected an examination under a bright light, or with a magnifying glass, or some sort of pattern of the review to ensure every part of my body was inspected, and I feel it could have been more thorough.

This felt like a drive-thru appointment. It was very rushed, not thorough at all. There was no in-depth discussion nor review of my medical history and she asked if I had questions as she was basically on her way out the door. I will never return here nor recommend it to anyone.

Dr Kim was great. I had difficulty finding the office. I had to go into a Citarella store and ask an employee. They told me that there are people coming in all the time looking for the doctor.
My recommendation is to use Holly Hill Lane for directions as this takes you right to the doctors office.

A sincere, concerned and kind physician. The appointment was quick and I was back outside in 25 minutes. Full body check and some questions about a couple of concerns I had which Dr Kim answered. I have asked to be put on reminder list for next. I’ll definitely go back and can recommend Dr Kim.

I left the office after an excision…and began bleeding through my bandages, clothes and into my car…
I had to return to the office for a cauterization. Luckily for me I was wearing black yoga pants so the bloody clothing wasn’t discernible…the bloody area on my pants was at least five inches by five inches…wet and worrisome as a patient.
At the moment I was unsure as to what to do…how was I to know about cauterization as a patient? I called my husband for advice and he told me to go back to the office..otherwise I am not sure that I have known what to do.
Dr Kim wasn’t very apologetic …her assistant said “ this doesn’t usually happen “ Well…it happened to me!

The scheduling of my annual check up was efficient and pleasant. I was seen promptly by Dr. Kim but unfortunately too promptly to feel comfortable a thorough exam took place. My entire annual check up was less than three minutes of face time. Dr. Kim seemed rushed and not her usual self. Bedside manner also not the same. I have been a patient for many years, prior checks have included extra lighting and or magnification on the table. There appeared to be no prior review of areas previously marked for follow up. I was never placed in the table for feet check. From the start my gown was taken off and I just stood on the floor. First comment from Dr. Kim “there is a lot of sun damage here” . Of course there is; I’m freckled and have seen Dr. Kim for years and assured Dr. Kim I used sun protection. I asked Dr Kim to check my back for moles that might need cosmetic removal. She didn’t seem to listen or confirm my request. Without barely looking, she was on to the next body area & out.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Kim during my yearly dermatology check-up. The appointment lasted only about five minutes, during which I was quickly examined from the front and back. I found this approach to be unprofessional, as it felt rushed and incomplete.

I went for an annual skin screening. The whole experience was nice, but the doctor spent literally 2 minutes reviewing my whole body. I do this checkup every year and other doctors spend at least 10-15 minutes and usually they take a closer look at some areas with a magnifying glass or camera, she only looked at me. I am not saying that she could not spot something strange this way (I am not a doctor, so don’t know) but it is strange that every other place needs much more time for the same examination.
