About Dr. Hee-jin Jung
Dr. Jung is a board-certified allergist and immunologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for children and adults.
She specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions and is committed to improving her patients’ quality of life through personalized, patient-centered treatment plans.
Originally from the tri-state area, Dr. Jung earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack University Medical Center before pursuing fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. During her fellowship, she gained extensive experience treating complex allergic and immunologic disorders.
In clinical practice, Dr. Jung has broad expertise in food and drug allergies, allergic rhinitis, asthma, and other allergic conditions. She emphasizes patient education, shared decision-making, and individualized care to help patients effectively manage their symptoms and achieve long-term health.
Dr. Jung has presented her research at the annual meetings of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI). She remains an active member of both professional organizations and is committed to staying current with the latest advances in allergy and immunology.
Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Jung enjoys caring for a diverse patient population. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
