About Jody Maffei
Jody Maffei, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and believes that the best patient outcomes begin with trust, education, and open communication.
Jody earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.
Prior to specializing in dermatology, Jody began her nursing career as an oncology nurse at Ocean Medical Center before serving as a Float Pool registered nurse. In this role, she cared for patients across a variety of specialties, including cardiology, neurology, geriatrics, orthopedics, critical care, and emergency medicine. This diverse clinical experience provided her with a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care.
In clinical practice, Jody cares for patients of all ages and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions. Her clinical interests include skin cancer detection and prevention, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hair and nail disorders, anti-aging medicine, and preventive skin health. She develops individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest advances in dermatology while aligning with each patient’s goals and lifestyle.
Jody is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurses’ Association Nurse Practitioner Society, and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of medicine, Jody enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, paddleboarding, and spending time with family and friends.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Jody Hahn. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely cared for and understood. She is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also genuinely compassionate and attentive. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way.
Her expertise is obvious, and the results speak for themselves. My skin has never looked better. She has a true eye for detail and a level of care that is rare to find today. You never feel rushed, just valued as a patient.
