About Julie Tummonds
Julie is a licensed registered nurse at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She has focused her nursing career in dermatology since 2009, with a special interest in laser treatments, neurotoxin injectables, and patient-centered skin care. Julie is passionate about helping patients reach and maintain their skin care goals, drawing on both personal experience and clinical expertise.
Julie earned her nursing degree from the University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2008 and began her career on a cardiac unit. After the birth of her twin daughters in 2009, she transitioned into dermatology—a field that had long been close to her heart due to a family member’s early diagnosis with melanoma. She began her dermatology work at the Skin and Laser Surgery Center of New York under Dr. Gernomous before relocating to California.
Julie specializes in laser-based procedures including laser hair removal, IPL (intense pulsed light), microneedling, and XTRAC treatments. She also offers cosmetic injectable treatments of neurotoxin, including Botox, to help patients achieve natural-looking facial rejuvenation. She is known for her personalized approach and dedication to helping each patient feel confident in their skin.
