She was great at explaining every step along the way and listening carefully to any concerns or question I had. She double checked at the end to make sure my concerns were fully addressed. The office itself could not be easier or more pleasant to work with. They greeted us professionally, handled the usual paperwork issues efficiently, and got us back into the exam room quickly, actually ahead of schedule. The support staff were comparably professional and welcoming. Dr. Baker arrived in the room quickly and could not have been more pleasant or professional. As an extra plus, her office is set up to communicate via text (or phone or email, of course) so it's really easy to connect with them. Great doc, great office. ”

About Dr. Laura Baker

Dr. Baker is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She graduated from Duke University majoring in biology, then attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she graduated among the top of her medical school class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also received a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Baker completed her internal medicine intern year at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, and her dermatology residency at University of California San Francisco, where she served as medical education chief, leading curriculum development for residents and medical students in dermatology. She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA Dermatology and Journal of Investigative Dermatology.
