About Dr. Mary Meighan
Dr. Mary Meighan is one of the distinguished dermatologists at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She has worked in the Twin Cities since 1991 practicing medical dermatology in various settings including at an academic teaching clinic, multi-specialty clinic and private practice. She received the Outstanding Teacher Award, Department of Dermatology, University of Minnesota, and has been listed in past issues of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s Top Doctors and Minneapolis Magazine Top Doctors for Women.
She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina with a BA in Chemistry and a graduate of the University of North Carolina Medical School. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut (a residency program in internal medicine), followed by a residency program in dermatology at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology.
Dr. Meighan has a special interest in skin cancer, including basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer and melanoma, as well as prevention, inflammatory diseases like psoriasis and eczema and, due to her training in internal medicine, diagnosing and treating the cutaneous manifestations of collagen vascular diseases.
She is currently accepting new patients for general dermatology, medical dermatology and skin cancer treatment.

It's clear that Zel is going through a big buy-out integration. It's hard to get in touch with an actual human in the office before the appointment and they jam in patients back to back. My appointment was supposed to be at 2:30- I wasn't seen until 3:15 and was late to pick my kids up. I like my provider, don't love the new set up.

This was my first visit with Dr. Meighan. She was very thorough in my exam (annual skin cancer check-up). I also discovered I'm allergic to my Fit Bit band and we spent quite a bit of time talking about that, giving me options, etc. She listened well and I was very pleased. I'll definitely go back to her.
