Melissa Mele-Delgado, MSN, DNP-BC is a Buffalo native who received her Adult Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Daemen College. Melissa went on to advance her education by completing the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as one of the first cohorts in the Western New York region. She comes to Southern Tier Dermatology with experience in endocrinology, rheumatology, and several years of dermatology. Her doctoral research in the field of dermatology, specifically psoriasis, led her to focus on autoimmune skin conditions. She also enjoys all aspects of dermatology including the aesthetic component, and was trained by a reputable plastic surgeon in dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Melissa is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and is an outdoor enthusiast in her free time which she spends with her husband and children.

What started out as a simple dermatology visit for general skin concerns turned into a concerned doctor and a skin biopsy later, I was on track to be diagnosed with lupus. Thanks to the amazing Doctors, nurses and Staff I was able to get treatment started right away and with my lucky early diagnosis I have the upper hand in this. (Kinda, lol)

Would recommend with provider and staff very friendly and professional. My only wish was that the cancer screening was little slower and careful in review. A couple more explanations of what was seen would have been ideal. They got me into the office so much faster than other dermatologists!

I came 5-10 minutes early. I waiting 30 minutes for in the doctor office. The doctor was okay, she seem to not pay attention to what to client wants, e.g: I told her that I need something for scars and an established facial routine. I would have love for her to go in detail and actual teach. It was okay, the whole consultation tool 15-20( that’s been nice) compared to how long took them to see me in the doctor office.

Dr Melissa was helpful in the treatment of my warts. I felt she was rather cold in nature, although I didn't sleep well the night before so I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt. I asked her questions but didn't feel heard or really answered and was told to make a separate appointment for any other skin concerns.

I’ve been a patient of Melissa’s for years. Actually, from the beginning of her career in dermatology. Without hesitation, I always recommend and refer friends and family to her.
It’s no surprise that most people find doctor visits (regardless of specialty) rushed and impersonal. It’s as if the process is merely a conveyor belt of patients: in & out, nothing in-between. However, with Melissa, it’s the opposite. She always takes the time to listen, talk through [my] concerns, and discuss treatment options.
Melissa’s expertise isn’t just dermatology, it’s genuine patient care; a quality that is slowly declining in the healthcare industry.
The new office in Williamsville is beautiful and spacious; complete with friendly staff. The location is an added bonus to those (like me) who live in the north towns.

Quick turn around time for appt (apprx 5 days). Office was very efficient and Melissa could not have been nicer and analyzed my skin issue, gave scripts and follow up appt. Great experience

I went in to this appointment with 3 concerns. I was asked by the tech for a priority list of the 3. I gave her one, as she commented that the provider may not have time for all 3. The provider entered at 0800. After our discussion on concern #1, the provider and the tech dismissed me without any interest in mentioning my other two concerns. ONLY 2 minutes had been spent for my time. If this provider cannot time manage for more than a 2 minute time slot for a patient, yet I’m sure the insurance was billed for an entire session, then this provider has no business “caring” for patients. I will not go back. I will not recommend. If all they care about is making the money and not actually helping patients. I was so frustrated. You finally get an appointment and this is the end result. Try again for those other concerns, and I guess I’ll have to but definitely not with this service.

Zocdoc sends a insane amount of emails and texts. Its ridiculous. Specifically getting a text at 4:10am the day of appointment is borderline harassment. I could not fall back asleep, thanks for costing me a couple hours of rest.

Melissa was knowledgeable, efficient, communicated clearly, and was open to questions. The online process of appointment scheduling was super helpful, and the registration once I arrived the next day was easy. The office had all of my information and filling out the patient history was easily done right from a tablet while waiting. I’d absolutely recommend this practice and provider based on my first experience today.
