About Dr. Nalini Packianathan
Dr. Packianathan is a board-certified allergist and immunologist at Schweiger Dermatology & Allergy.
She specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of allergy and immunology conditions in both adults and children, including seasonal and perennial allergies, hives, eczema, food allergies, asthma, sinusitis, contact allergy and drug allergy. Dr. Packianathan has a particular interest in contact allergy and specializes in patch testing.
She received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo (Jacobs School of Medicine), where she also earned a Master of Science and a Master of Public Health. She completed her residency in internal medicine and social/preventive medicine at SUNY Buffalo, followed by a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the same institution. She is board certified in both internal medicine and allergy/immunology.
Throughout her career, Dr. Packianathan has been actively involved in research in the fields of basic sciences and allergy and immunology, contributing to several peer-reviewed academic publications. She has also served as president of the Buffalo Allergy Society.
As a member of the American College of Allergy and Immunology and a fellow of the American Contact Dermatitis Society, Dr. Packianathan is committed to delivering personalized care to her patients, helping them manage their conditions effectively and improve their quality of life.
A lifelong resident of Western New York, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her husband and two children.

Schweiger dermatology and allergy is a very good provider. Everything was very prompt and the doctor was exceptional!!. Easy to understand took her time and asked many questions and listened. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. I will be going back for a follow up with both dermatology and allergy this coming Monday. One right after the other, didn’t have to make two trips.
