I'm so glad I made an appointment with Dr. Zafar. She patiently listened to my medical history and the details of my allergic reaction. Her personable and cordial manner helped ease my anxiety over my ailment. Additionally, I felt validated, and when I let her know about other syndromes I read about online, even though she let me know she didn't think that's what it was given what I've explained, she said we can test it out to ease my fears and cross it off the list of possibilities. Her proactive approach to my condition brought a lot of comfort to a fearful, anxiety-ridden situation, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like my situation has become more manageable. I am more confident that I'm at least taking steps forward - alongside a wonderful doctor.
