About Dr. Shani Francis

Dr. Shani Francis is a board-certified dermatologist and medical research executive. She has a diverse background in biochemical engineering, clinical trial research and product development, with special interests in inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, holistic medicine, hair loss and health delivery systems. Dr. Francis received her Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, along with an Excellence in Dermatology Award and an AAD Diversity Mentorship Program Award. She completed an internal medicine internship at The University of Chicago Hospitals and remained there for her dermatology residency, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Francis remains active in several organizations.
