She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University, completing rigorous didactic coursework and clinical rotations across New York City, including a focused rotation in dermatology. She was recognized for her excellence in clinical performance with an award from her program.
Shterna began her dermatology career by completing Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program, gaining hands-on experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology alongside leading specialists.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
