She was accepted into the prestigious combined Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees. During her time there, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated summa cum laude in 2020. Dr. Zhang completed her dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, consistently ranked among the top 10 dermatology residency training programs in the country. She has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals nationally and internationally. She is excited to return home to New Jersey to serve her community.

Dr. Zhang is a competent professional she immediately diagnosed my cyst growth. She was able to remove it during the visit. She ensured I was comfortable and experienced minimal pain during the procedure. There was no waiting ,the offices and exam rooms were impeccably clean and modern. I highly recommend Dr Zhang and the Schweiger Group.

The office was very clean, but I will not be going back to Dr Zong. Other reviews mentioned how quick she was to end the appointment and that was my experience as well. Wanted to spend as little time answering my questions as possible. It was clear after 5 mins she was done with the appointment. This isn’t an oil change, if people have legitimate medical concerns they should be addressed. I will not be going back.

Felt a bit rushed and did not appreciate getting product “recommendation” for super expensive sunscreen and moisturizer that they sell in office for 30% more than anywhere else. I really don’t appreciate physicians pushing specific products on me. Other than that, the recommended treatment was pretty standard (acne treatment with retinol) and she answered all my questions

Dr. Zhang and her MA wasted no time and saw me immediately upon arrival. This was my first time going to a dermatologist and they made me feel very comfortable in the setting. Recommend this office and provider to all!!

I had the best experience with Dr. Sofia Zhang today. She was incredibly thorough, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. Dr. Zhang took the time to carefully listen to my concerns, performed a detailed skin exam, and clearly explained her findings and recommendations.
What truly stood out was her compassionate approach and the way she made me feel completely comfortable and heard. She did not rush the appointment and made sure I understood my treatment plan before I left. I felt confident that I was in very capable hands.

Dr. Zhang is really friendly with great bedside manner and knowledgeable! She was able to answer questions and gave me many options on how we can approach some treatments. This was my first time seeing her after using a different Derm under the Schweiger group. I’m glad I went to see her and will continue from now on especially since the office is much closer to me than the previous location.
