Dr. Isak is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
She grew up in Austria and completed a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media management at the FH University of Applied Sciences in Vienna. She received her medical degree at the Medical University of Vienna and was then appointed to complete a research fellowship in Dr. Richard Granstein’s lab at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York.
Dr. Isak collaborated on research projects that primarily focused on ultraviolet radiation effects on immune responses within the skin. She then trained at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City for her intern year in internal medicine and completed her dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

We were here 2 years ago for Acne and was prescript with Accutane. The acne came back, but the doctor didn't check our previous record so we have to tell her about the Accutane. She just asked us to continue using topical acne medication and she prescribed another topical for spot treatment. Didn't ask how long we were on the acne medication or anything specific. She is not thorough enough.

I was disappointed because I traveled an hour for this appointment and I felt rushed. Not sure why the doctor was in a rush, she had practically the whole day available on zocdoc. Had a list of questions I didn’t get to answer all of them. I would try another doctor in the practice the front desk was very nice.

I’m a new patient. Was told to come 15 min before my appointment 6.20 pm. I got there 6.05pm. Did my registration in 5 min. 3 people came after me went in. Waited until 6.35pm to check with front desk. They did not know why the delay. Finally I went in 6.45pm. Nurse asked some questions and I waited again until 7pm to see the doctor. I was annoyed. Dr came and check on me for 2 mins. I left at 7.04pm. Probably will not return.

Fantastic physician! Listened well, open to questions. Dr. Isak's exam of my issue was very thorough, She explained her plan for treatment in a clear manner. I will be going back for a follow up and I have switched to Dr. Isak as my Dermatologist.

I scheduled an appointment after noticing a wart developing on my thumb. During my visit, the provider stated she would not freeze it because she did not see anything, even though the wart was clearly visible and in the same spot I had one a few months prior. She told me to return if it worsened or “actually showed.” To appease me, she froze a small portion, though the wart was more extensive. The following week, after it had spread across my thumb, I reminded her of our agreement. Instead, she insisted the previously treated spot was sufficient and claimed the rest was “reacting” and causing eczema, though it was clearly still a wart. I requested freezing again, but she only treated part of it once more. This forced me to return a third time, where it was finally confirmed as a wart. This entire process left me with two unnecessary copays, added frustration, and wasted time.
