Mr. Matthew Hislop is a board-certified physician assistant who completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Institute where he earned his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Matthew is board certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Matthew spent the first five years of his career practicing General and Cosmetic Dermatology in New York City. He possesses an outstanding skillset for examining, diagnosing, and treatment of various skin conditions, as well as performing minor surgical techniques. He is passionate about providing general medical dermatology care to his patients of all ages, race, and walks of life. Matthew is a warm and communicative provider who takes pride in empowering his patients through education. Matthew has also completed advanced training in cosmetic dermatology, including injectables and fillers.
Outside of practice, Matthew enjoys nature and the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family. He is an animal lover and avid runner. Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Matthew is a loyal Boston sports fan.

Great, he performed a biopsy on my mother which other doctors didn't do. Once the labs came back we finally recieved my mother's skin condition after two years of back to back doctor visits. Now she's on a prescription covered by the insurance, and time will tell.

When I came to check in, there were two young ladies at their desk, the one to the right told me she was out to lunch and told me to speak to the other lady. In my opinion you should not be at your work desk while not working-it's rude and made me unconfortable.

The office staff and medical assistants are friendly & helpful. Matthew is friendly, personable, assessed my skin condition and treatment recommendations and duration of treatments in addition he informed what condition & treatment is covered or not covered by insurance. He performed procedure for my skin condition it was very comfortable, Matthew recommended I will need follow-up treatments. My first impression and whole experience was very good.

He has excellent bedside manner and made me feel comfortable to express all my concerns.
