Dr. Erum Ilyas focuses on adult and pediatric medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and skin cancer treatment. Dr. Ilyas grew up in Maryland and graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts and Science. She earned her medical degree from the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, and completed her Dermatology training at the Cooper University Hospital of UMDNJ, where she also served as Chief Resident of Dermatology. Dr. Ilyas has practiced dermatology in the Philadelphia area and Boston for over 15 years, and has served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Drexel University College of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, and Philadelphia Dermatological Society. Dr. Ilyas has presented nationally and authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters. She is married and has 3 children.
