About Evangelia Nezis
Evangelia Nezis is a Family Nurse Practitioner and is board certified through The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Evangelia is a graduate of The University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Minor in Psychology. Evangelia earned her nursing degree from St. Petersburg College and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from State College of Florida. Evangelia began her nursing career at Moffitt Cancer Center, in Tampa, Fl, with a focus in gynecology/orthopedic oncology. She then transitioned to Morton Plant Hospital focusing on obstetrics where she expanded her health knowledge by caring for infant and adult patients. As she gained experience in the health industry, Evangelia realized she had a passion for skin related issues and began to pursue a career in the area of dermatology. While continuing her work at Morton Plant, she completed the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program at The University of Tampa graduating Cum Laude. She was recognized for her scholastic excellence by the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She has advanced training in medical and surgical dermatology, pediatric medicine, and cosmetic dermatology.
She is an active member of National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, American Association Nurse Practitioners as well as local Nurse Practitioners associations seeking new educational experiences and creating bonds with fellow NPs.
In her free time, Evangelia is an avid traveler. She has visited over 40 countries on six continents. Evangelia has a passion for meeting local residents, engaging in their culture, and making friends wherever she goes. She is also fluent in the Greek language.

I was very surprised at how easy the process was. I’ve never used ZocDoc before so it was a great experience. I was easily able to filter doctors based on my insurance plan and location preference. Would use again!

The NP that saw me was not receptive to my symptoms or situation at all, brushing off everything I had to say and acting off of assumptions. I ended up paying my copay to walk out with unclear next steps and a prescription I told her would not work as it was infective in the past. Did not do a thorough exam and therefore did not make her best effort to treat me. Would never recommend and am not going back
