About Amanda Perez
She has worked in the Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU and Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Yale New Haven Health and Kaiser Permanente. She completed Schweiger Dermatology Group’s Advanced Practice Provider Training Program where she trained alongside Dr. Frank Pinto and other dermatology providers to gain firsthand experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic treatments.
Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University in 2017 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Fairfield University in 2023. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society while completing her degree.
She is AANP certified through the American Nursing Association and an active member of the Connecticut Dermatology Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant organizations.

Facility seemed clean. The visit felt rushed, and the provider didn't seem like she was ready to listen. I was in and out of the office very fast and did not feel like I could cover all of my concerns with adequate care & concern. I was also instructed to take my clothes off and wear a gown for seemingly no reason. I will probably book somewhere else in future instances.

I was beyond thrilled with Amanda and her office. They were available for a last-minute appointment, worked in my schedule. The office could not have been better. The staff was amazing. They reached out prior, verified my insurance and had me fill out paperwork. I also received email and a text reminder. The office is STATE OF THE ART. It’s beautiful. It’s always nice to be in a clean environment, especially a health care environment. Amanda was AMAZING. She listened and addressed all of my issues. She was honest about the pros and cons of research. She was extremely personable and patient. I cannot thank her enough. If you’re thinking twice about booking… just do it. You won’t be disappointed.
