Dr. David Groth is one of the distinguished dermatologists at Schweiger Dermatology Group. He practices general medical and surgical dermatology with a special interest in pediatric dermatology. Dr. Groth earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his residency in Dermatology at the University of Minnesota. He completed his internship in Pediatrics at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota, where he serves as a staff physician in the pediatric dermatology clinic once monthly.
Dr. Groth has been recognized as a Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Top Doc since 2001. He maintains the highest standards of accreditation through the American Board of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology and participates in continuing medical education to stay current in the latest advances in the field.

I had two issues but was rushed through first issue and Dr refused to discuss second issue and insisted on making a second appointment even though there was time. Just out for making money and costing me more with multiple appointments. Poor patient service

He checked all my moles made sure they weren't cancerous. Checked my feet made sure no nail fungus. My hair is falling out which concerned me. The doctor told me what to do before I see him next time. We will go from there when I return to see if it helped or if not he will try a different treatment. I felt that he was a bit dismissive and did not demonstrate much empathy during our interaction. Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard and that my concerns were not taken seriously. I felt worse leaving than I did coming in. Unfortunately, it felt like a waste of both time and money.

This office is located in the upscale west metro Plymouth. Easy to locate, good access from 494. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable, was escorted to exam room right on time. Dr. Groth ore which he recommendedeased my concerns about some age related growths which were of no concern, Examined a non cancerous growth and removed it with very little pain. Gave me the name of a product available at drug store to aid healing.
