About Rachel Lau

Rachel Lau is a nationally certified physician assistant. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in Business Marketing. While at LMU, she played on the Division I Women’s Waterpolo Team. Prior to her lifelong pursuit of being a physician assistant, Rachel spent several years in post-operative orthopedic care working closely with top professional sports team physicians in the Los Angeles Area. She then went on to get her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Rachel has experience in both cosmetic and general dermatology. She treats acne, sun damage, rashes, warts, hair-loss and various skin diseases. She also has experience with Botox, fillers, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, sclerotherapy and more. She is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She lives in the South Bay with her husband and 2 daughters. Rachel enjoys running, swimming and spending time with friends and family.
