About Dr. Jianni Wu

**Dr. Wu does see patients age 11 and up. For pediatric appointments, please call the office to book.** Dr. Wu is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group. She provides expert medical and cosmetic dermatology care for patients of all ages. Dr. Wu has a special interest in inflammatory skin diseases and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions with a personalized, evidence-based approach designed to help patients achieve healthy skin and lasting results. Dr. Wu graduated with distinction from Duke University and earned her Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel followed by a residency in dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Wu was selected to serve as chief resident during her final year of training. In addition to treating medical dermatology concerns, she provides personalized cosmetic treatments tailored to each patient’s goals. Dr. Wu is committed to delivering comprehensive care that helps patients look and feel their best.

I arrived late to my appointment and was seen by a PA instead of Dr. Jianni Wu. The wait time was moderate. Overall, I am satisfied with the diagnosis. The PA was clear, responsive, and patient in answering my questions. The only downside was that I had to contact customer service about two days later to learn that my medication shipment was still pending. They responded quickly and said they would notify their team and follow up with me. I am currently waiting for that update.

Dr. Wu was nice, but she seemed very inexperienced with treating patients. For spots that aren’t obviously acne, she just took a quick glance and brushed off my main concern by falsely addressing it as an acne-related issue; I had to delve deeper into it and further explain for her to actually take a closer look - even then, she mentioned a few conditions without a conclusive diagnosis on my main concern. I went in with a lot of expectations during a busy week but was disappointed with the appointment.
