Dr. Malik is a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group.
He treats a wide range of skin, hair and nail concerns across all skin types and specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Malik is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care and works closely with patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address both medical and aesthetic goals.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Malik earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from New York University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine with highest distinction from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed a research fellowship focused on inflammatory skin diseases at Rockefeller University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the laboratory of Dr. Emma Guttman.
He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Plainview Hospital/Northwell Health System followed by a residency in dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Malik was selected as chief resident for the 2021–2022 academic year in recognition of his outstanding performance and commitment to excellence.
He is highly skilled in cosmetic procedures, including Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling and laser treatments. Dr. Malik prides himself on listening to his patients’ concerns and developing holistic treatment strategies that prioritize effectiveness, safety and patient satisfaction.

It was very good overall, but they didn’t clarify that the initial payment couldn’t be made with Apple Pay, so I wasn’t able to use my HSA card. It would have been helpful if they had explained that in advance so I wouldn’t have had to pay the copay there with my personal card.
