About Dr. Andrea Carter
I try to provide my patients with holistic care and while doing so, it creates an open sense of communication. I have brought fresh new ideas to the women of Hattiesburg and the surrounding areas as it relates to their healthcare. As a wife, mother and provider I enjoy talking with patients of all ages from adolescence to menopause. While at the University Medical Center in Jackson, I received extensive training in both routine and high risk obstetric care. In addition, I was able to pursue advanced training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and prolapse surgery at Wesley Medical Center and one of the few physicians performing single site robotic hysterectomies.
