About Dr. Julie Taylor

Dr. Taylor grew up in Florida and is a graduate of Florida State University and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Dr. Taylor completed her internship and residency training at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. She has an interest in adolescent medicine, high-risk obstetrics, and robotic surgery. Dr. Taylor is a board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is on staff at Brookwood Medical Center and also St. Vincent’s St. Clair Hospital in Pell City.
Dr. Taylor is married to Craig Taylor and they have a daughter, Cady Riley. They enjoy cooking together, traveling, and college football.

Dr. Taylor is very difficult to see. She has been my doctor for years, but over the past couple of years it has gotten harder and harder to see her. It is very frustrating. Especially after you wait a while and then get asked if you can see someone else or wait longer if you want to see her. It is this way almost every single time.

I highly recommend Dr. Taylor. She is wonderful ,easy to talk to. And she really cares about your health. Takes the time to listen to you. Her staff was wonderful also. Very clean office and lobby. Lobby could use some new chairs.

Dr.Taylor has been my doctor for two of my pregnancies and is still my doctor to this day. She is friendly yet professional. She also performed a surgery for me and did an excellent job and I had absolutely no problems. Would highly recommend.

The wait is unacceptable. It is always longer than any other doctor I see but this time was even longer than usual. The only reason I continue to see Dr. Taylor is because I feel she is such a good gyn doctor for me. She did a test, though, that I didn't need so my insurance won't pay for it. I was disappointed that she didn't tell me she was doing a lab test that I could have prevented. If you don't mind the long wait, I recommend Dr. Taylor.

Office staff and doctor was very nice and attentive. Doctor took the time to listen to all my medical issues. Did have to wait 50min to be seen first by intake nurse then the doctor.
