About Dr. Steven Speights
Dr. Speights is a board-certified urogynecologist who specializes in minimally invasive urogynecologic surgeries, including outpatient hysterectomy, outpatient sacrocolpopexy, and treatments for overactive bladder, incontinence, vaginal mesh, and vaginal support problems. He has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery and provides surgical and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatments.
After completing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Mississippi and earning his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Dr. Speights served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He went on to complete fellowships in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and the University of Michigan Health Systems, followed by further advanced laparoscopic pelvic surgery training at the Atlanta Center for Laparoscopic Urogynecology. Dr. Speights is double board-certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics, as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of several medical societies and associations, including the Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American Urogynecologic Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and more.
