I felt very comfortable with Dr. Chen immediately. Very personable and easy to talk to. His medical assistant was phenomenal and started off my new patient appointment with a very laid back feel. The intake receptionist did my checkout and made my follow up appointments, putting me at ease. The lab tech was a true gem with so much sweet personality that she put a whole hearted smile on my face. I’m glad I found this office and I’ll definitely recommend it to everyone that I know!

Very friendly staff as always. Dr. Chen is a wonderful OB/GYN. Very gentle, listens to you, and tries his best to help with whatever is going on. I struggled with a lot of doctors in this practice and he's the first one that took me seriously. If he doesn't have an answer right away, he's going to do his best to find it. Glad I can trust him with my care.

I drove all the way to Rochester for my appointment. I was told by the gynecologist that is there now that all Eastside Gynecology appointments were canceled and I was never notified about my appointment. I drove all the way from Saint Clair Shores I need to be seen.

I’ve been a patient of Eastside and Dr. Chen for more than 20 years. I have always had good experience with the doctors and staff. When an appointment has needed to be changed, they’ve given me adequate notice and apologized and vice versa when I’ve had to reschedule I would recommend Dr. Chen and Eastside to anyone looking for a great doctor and office.

I would recommend Dr. Chen to all of the women in my life! He was amazing. I was nervous as I’ve never had a male OBGYN before but he made the entire experience so comfortable and listened to my concerns as well as expressed his own to make sure we cover all bases. I cannot express how grateful I am for this as well as pleased with the experience. The office staff were very friendly and the staff never that came in prior to take vitals/ask questions was great as well.

It was an extremely stressful day for me, but the staff was very pleasant and super fast with getting me checked in. Dr. Chen has an awesome bedside (technically, exam room) manner. He was patient and didn’t rush through my exam, which I appreciated. Had a little bit of a mishap after my blood draw, but everyone did a great job resolving it. Would definitely recommend Dr. Chen and his team.

Such a lovely staff and terrific Dr.! Dr. Chen was friendly, patient, answered my questions and made me feel comfortable. Oh, and the robes!!! Cotton waffle knit! The utmost level of comfortability. I was so pleased. It makes a huge difference to feel cozy and safe in an actual robe! Instead of a piece of paper around you. I will be going back. This is officially my new OBGYN.

The staff was very nice, fast, and the first gynecology office that took my concerns seriously. I appreciate them really trying to help me out and resolve my issues. Too many doctors just rush into getting me on birth control and wiping their hands of my issues. Dr. Chen is actually working with me to figure out what could be the problem. Plus he was very gentle and communicated during my appointment.

Dr. Chen and the professional staff at Eastside Gynecology are superior in the industry. I highly recommend them for all gynecological matters. The women are treated with the utmost care and respect. This is more than a job to the doctors and staff are genuinely concerned about you and your health. Their follow-ups with the patients are above and beyond any that I've ever experienced before or heard of. If you are a young woman who is in need of ob/gyn medical care you definitely will be provided the best with Dr. Chen and the many doctor, nurses and support staff at Eastside Gynecology. If you're and older woman, you will also receive exceptional medical care. I have recommended several family, friends and mere strangers to Eastside Gynecology and all have been extremely pleased.

Dr. Chen and the nurses were friendly and listened thoughtfully to any concerns I brought up. Dr. Chen was knowledgeable and comforting.
