I’ve been seeing Dr. Aldred for 6 years; I think he’s a great doctor. We always have real talks, and he listens to me. He asks lots of questions and gives the best advice. I never feel rushed, and he always talks me through the exams.
The office staff is always nice and makes me feel welcome. I never have a long wait in the waiting room. Everything runs smoothly and efficiently but still with care.
Some doctors can make you feel like you’re on a production line.

I was taken to two dirty exam rooms after waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. My exam felt rushed, and the Dr did an inadequate job of answering my questions and concerns. He was in a hurry and admitted to having not looked at my chart before coming in the room. He left without telling me I was done or giving any further instruction, so I sat alone in the exam room for ten minutes after being before letting myself out. The nurse who accompanied him never said a word. Nurse who took my blood pressure was very unfriendly and smelled strongly of cigarettes. Front desk was busy gossiping about staff when I checked in. First visit here and they didn’t do a urine test, a blood test, or ask any questions about my sex life, health history, or my cycle. It felt like they were just trying to get me in and out with minimal care. Incredibly disappointed.

Great doctor and very kind. Listened to my needs. I think the front desk messed up because I waited in the waiting room for over an hour before they realized my chart wasn’t back there.

Absolutely loved my experience!! I was a little thrown off it was a christain based practice but still loved it. I didn’t love my intake nurse, she was literally googling things in front of me and writing down all the wrong things. I was constantly restating or correcting what she was writing. But Dr. A was amazing, he was very knowledgeable and did a full work up. I felt like he never shut me down once and gave real advice on how to work through PCOS.

I love OBGYN-South! I just love every provider there! I met them all in each pregnancy just so I would be familiar with them. I started as a patient of Dr. Radbill. He was my mom’s gynecologist as well. Sadly, he stopped delivering after my first child. So then I started seeing Dr. Batson. She delivered my last two children. She was always wonderful as well! I met Dr. Aldred when I was in labor with my last child. He confirmed I was in labor. He encouraged me and prayed over me. Then sent me to labor and delivery. When Dr. Batson left, I started seeing Dr. Aldred for my yearly appointments. I 100% recommend him! He is very knowledgeable and he really cares about his patients. The office atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. The staff is very professional and kind. The nurses always make conversation and try to get to know me. I just can’t say enough good things about them! You can’t go wrong with them!

The appointment was on time. The office was very nice office. Staff was courteous and attentive. Dr Aldred is thorough with a great bedside manner. Mammogram was slammed, but got me in and out and a reasonable amount of time was very courteous.

Moving and finding new doctors is never easy, but I found Obgyn South on Google and because of there great reviews I booked an appt. From beginning to end of my appt was smooth. Dr.Aldred was very nice and straight to the point. I feel like he is going to be a great doctor for me while I'm here in Alabama. Highly recommend!
