Dr. Ana Fraguada was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia. She earned her Doctor of Medicine magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Dr. Fraguada moved to Tampa, Fla. in 2016 to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the University of South Florida.
She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Fraguada has always known she wanted to dedicate her life to women’s health, and is committed to providing excellent care to her patients. She is especially interested in preventive medicine, high risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgery. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also enjoys going to the beach and traveling.

Great experience! I moved in from out of state and finding a new provider is always so hard. The wait times were incredibly on time. The doctor was beyond understanding and empathetic. Will be staying with her as long as possible :)

I went in for my annual and although the doctor was incredibly kind & friendly I felt unheard as a patient. My pap-smear was not just uncomfortable, it was incredibly painful to the point of tears. I did not receive my exam results after my check up and felt rushed and not seen as a person. Again, staff was friendly, the doctor was super kind, but my experience was jarring.

Overall, I found my provider to be friendly and understanding. However, I believe there is room for improvement in her communication skills, specifically in creating opportunities for the patient to ask all their questions.
During my visit, I felt that she was rushing through the appointment. As a result, I didn’t have the chance to ask all the questions I had prepared. Toward the end of the visit, I managed to ask one question before she left, but I still felt hesitant to bring up more because it seemed like she was in a hurry.
I think it’s important for providers to ensure patients don’t feel rushed during appointments. A simple step like asking, “Do you have any other questions?” before concluding the visit could have made a big difference. This approach would help patients feel more comfortable and better supported.

The doctor was pleasant and communicated clearly. Felt a little rushed but was able to discuss everything important. The office and exam room are no fluff but clean. The staff was very friendly.

The wait time is horrible here. I had to wait an hour to be patronized by the doctor. She has intense and on high alert. I did my best in answering all her questions, but her bed side manner wasn’t the best.

The dr was great, but the office is a mess. Got there 25 minutes early, and stood in a line for that whole time just to check in. Wasn't even given paperwork until after my appointment time, and wasn't called until an hour after my appointment. Not one person acknowledged a delay.
The waiting room was hot and cramped, ended up standing 45 minutes. Thankfully I'm not a pregnant patient but many were and it wasn't good.

Dr. Fraguada was great! I went to this doctors office and doctor based on reviews and friend suggestions. I have been looking for a doctor that actually listens and takes the time to find what’s wrong. Dr. Fraguada did just that and more. I left there feeling good knowing that i had a plan to battle my issues and a doctor behind me. I will continue to use Dr. Fraguada as my OBGYN for as long as possible.

I work in the medical field and understand that providers won’t always be at their best but I just felt so crappy after my new patient appointment with her. She cut me off, rushed the entire appointment, belittled and ignored my medical and family history before just tossing some prescription at me and left before ordering my labwork. You know it’s bad when you leave crying and feeling like you should’ve lied to your doctor in order to feel liked by them.
