About Dr. Ann Marie D'Heureux-Jones

Dr. D’Heureux-Jones is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist who joined our practice in 2002. She has special interests in minimally invasive surgery including the utilization of daVinci robotics with laparoscopy and diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is married and has two sons and enjoys traveling and exercising. Dr. D’Heureux-Jones received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore in 2000. After her residency, she joined the faculty at the University of Maryland Medical Center as an Assistant Professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology. She relocated to Orlando Florida and joined the practice in 2002, where she practices general obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. D’Heureux-Jones practices at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies and cares for patients at our Winter Park and Oviedo offices.

Appointment in time, efficient. Staff friendly The only down side was there was no lab tech on site to draw my labs, I drove to Oveido office( 10 miles away)to get my labs done.

I’ve been looking for a new obgyn since I’ve moved. The office is great and the receptionists are very nice. The doctor was very personable and direct, which is what I look for in a doctor. She acknowledged all my concerns and was thorough. I was very optimistic. However, I will NEVER go back to her. The appt did NOT start with my health concerns. I want to remain anonymous, so I will not go into too much detail. At the end of a lengthy (one-sided) conversation, I did not feel welcomed. I did not feel that my health concerns were not the priority of the appointment. Obviously, that made me tense. I was not comfortable through the following procedure AT ALL. I felt she rushed through the reason I was there. But I was there and didn’t want to find another new doctor, so I went ahead with it. I’ve never experienced any discomfort whatsoever with my previous doc, but this time it was just painful. Couldn’t wait to leave. Almost had a panic attack. Was barely able to keep it together.

I love Dr. D'Heureux. I've been a patient of hers for a few years, and I always feel like I am getting good, comprehensive care. Last year I had a problem with pelvic pain. Dr. D'Heureux was really compassionate and encouraging, referred me to a great PT, and then was thrilled to hear a few months later my pain had resolved. At my annual exam this year, she even remembered to check in about that. I also find the office staff and medical assistants to be very efficient, friendly, and helpful.
I've been going to OB Gyn Specialist for over 25 years. The Oviedo office is in a newly built building. The office is spacious, clean and the staff took all the Covid-19 precautions even before you walk in up until the time you see the doctor and check out. Dr. D'Heureux-Jones is personable, knowledgeable, and listens to your concerns. I would recommend her and this practice to any of my friends.
