About Dr. Briana Renfroe
Briana Cunningham, DNP, APRN, is a patient-focused professional in nursing who seeks to manage the care of GYN and women’s health patients. She possesses robust educational qualifications, numerous field experiences, and a rich portfolio of work.
In 2014, she obtained a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida in Gainesville. In April 2016, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. She later completed graduate-level coursework and, in April 2021, obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
In field practice, Briana Cunningham worked with Northeast Florida Endocrine and Diabetes Associates, providing excellent evidence-based inpatient diabetes care to patients in hospitals throughout Jacksonville and served as an endocrine provider for hospitals treating a host of endocrinopathies. She has also worked with Florida Telehealth and Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, providing customer support services for patients using BlueChew, performing telehealth visits to approve patients for BlueChew prescriptions, and has provided care to various patient populations as part of the registered nurse float pool on a PRN basis. She also worked at St. Vincent’s as a Registered Nurse for five years.
In community service, Briana has volunteered at Sulzbacher Center Clinic in Jacksonville, where she promoted healthy lifestyle choices, educated patients on various health issues, collaborated with nurse practitioners and registered nurses to provide the best health care possible, obtained medical histories and performed physical assessments, triaged patients, and helped them back to their rooms.
She is a recipient of the Daisy Award 2019 and a member of the Student Nurses Association and Golden Key International Honor Society.

The lady at the front desk apologized numerous times for taking time to fix a problem in their system with my info (it stated I was self-pay rather than covered by insurance). The medical staff were very professional in their questions, maintained a pleasant demeanor throughout, and helped me to feel comfortable with the appointment. Overall, I'd highly recommend this facility and staff for any younger patients going in for first-time appointments!
