About Dr. Catherine Casademont-Luna

Dr. Casademont-Luna is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Casademont-Luna is a native Floridian, hailing from Miami. She received her undergraduate degree in Integrative Health Science from Stetson University in Deland, FL on a Phi Theta Kappa honors scholarship. During her graduating year, the science faculty awarded her “Outstanding Senior.” During her time there, she brought the Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) group to Stetson. She then received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine where she was an active volunteer of bringing critical GYN care to underprivileged areas. She completed her residency at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Her training took place at one of the top NJ maternity hospitals, therefore lending to excellent training in high risk obstetrics and GYN surgery. Dr. Casademont-Luna is focused on general obstetrics and gynecology care. She enjoys navigating women, especially first time mothers, through pregnancy and ultimate delivery and postpartum care. She also enjoys finding solutions to general gynecology problems whether it be major or minimally invasive surgery, medical or supportive care. Dr. Casademont-Luna is married to her high school sweetheart. They currently enjoy spending time outdoors with their golden retriever and lounging indoors with their cat. She enjoys crafts, camping, and exploring the world with family.

This was an excellent first visit for me as a new patient! I got there early for my appointment, and they called my name a minute before my appointment’s start time! And I didn’t have to wait long for the physician to come see me. She was very attentive and kind, it was a great appointment! The entire staff were incredible, very kind and communicative. The office was nice, check-in was simple after I did the online portion. I spent about 10 minutes talking to the doctor, and that was it. The consultation was not personalized, and I felt that my concerns were not addressed beyond a superficial assessment. I was kind of dismissed with my concerns and was given a one size fits all treatment that ended up not treating my condition I came in for. My concerns about the treatment weren’t really listened to. She was very nice and seems perfectly capable, she just didn’t want to hear me out about what I thought it could be and ended up not treating my symptoms.

Give yourself 2 hours minimum to be seen. Not sure why a simple well women’s exam took 2 hours but otherwise it was an average visit. Nothing stood out as great for me.
dr. cass was super sweet and listened to me very carefully! she walked me through my vaginal exam and told me before she did anything! i really appreciate it as i was very nervous but dr. cass made all my worries go away!
