About Dr. Delaura Patel

Originally a long time resident of the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Delaura Patel received her International Baccalaureate diploma from Palm Harbor University High School. She then completed a combined 7-year BS/MD program at the University of South Florida. She received her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Patel is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and American Medical Association. Her special interests include abnormal bleeding, contraception, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Patel is excited to be joining Women’s Care Florida, and is eager to provide excellent and compassionate care for her patients.

First time at this office, staff was very friendly. Office was very clean and roomy. Staff kept us updated on doctors schedule which was very considerate. Due to my prior GYN doctor moving I met Dr Patel for the first time. She was wonderful. Warm, friendly, welcoming, very happy with the visit. I highly recommend her and the office.

I only just had my initial appointment with Dr. Patel but I loved her! She was very informative and warm, as was everyone else I encountered in the office, and she went above and beyond to make me comfortable and at ease, which I think is especially important for an OBGYN. On top of my well woman check-up, she also informed me about some added benefits of my IUD as well as checked its position without my even asking (I was initially told I’d need a separate IUD check-up appointment as a new patient, which is totally understandable).
Dr Patel and her coworker were absolutely incredible. They were very kind and listened to all my concerns. They provide honest and sincere feedback. 10/10 would recommend
