About Dr. Jill Botelho

Dr. Jill Botelho is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She joined Lifetime Obstetrics and Gynecology, previously known as Carrollwood Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2008. She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the Florida Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Born on Long Island, NY, Dr. Botelho has been living in the Tampa area since 1992. Dr. Botelho earned her baccalaureate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a major in biology and minor in psychology. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Botelho completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida in 2008.

My appointment with Dr. Botelho was wonderful. She's a phenomenal physician and very personable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Zocdoc, however, screwed up my appointment. Zocdoc kept on sending me reminders about my appointment which was today. When I arrived at the office, the staff informed me that my appointment was changed to sometime in April (2 1/2 months later)! I showed the staff my text from zocdoc verifying my appointment time today. The receptionist didn't know who canceled and changed my appointment. No one from zocdoc called me, nor texted, me about the change that they made. Terrible experience with Zocdoc! Fortunately, the office staff managed to get me in to see the doctor today, 1 hour later. I highly recommend Dr. Botelho, but not Zocdoc!
Best Dr. In Tampa she is knowledgeable, kind, caring, and a wonderful bedside manner even referred me a doctor for colonoscopy and rest assured that my pellet I was safe and then I was healthy and just made me feel overall about my well-being at my age I’m 60 and I really appreciate it Jill you’re the best if you get this message Kristen Loring

Dr. Botelho is by far the best OB I have ever been to. I feel comfortable enough to share any and all concerns with her. I never feel rushed when she is seeing me. Most of the OB physicians at this practice are great, but she is outstanding. She handled my pregnancy with the utmost care, explained to me thoroughly everything that was going on complication wise, and remained calm throughout the entire process which was vital for me. I will absolutely continue to receive care by her and cannot recommend her enough!
Dr. Botelho is thoughtful, ??thorough, and truly a great listener. I left her office feeling heard and completely at ease. She was genuinely interested in my medical history and answering any questions I had. Additionally the office staff ( check-in) and nurses were pleasant and friendly. Finding a doctor in a new city can be overwhelming… I am grateful this was such a smooth transition. 5 Stars across the board!

I see Dr. Botelho, and she is wonderful. I have a chronic illness, and she makes sure that her care and recommendations are in line with my preferences as well as what is acceptable for someone with my particular risks. No one particularly likes getting their annual exam and Pap smears and all that, but Dr. Botelho is extremely gentle. I'm sad that I didn't see her during my pregnancies!Everyone I've dealt with in the way of nurses, assistants, and office staff have been lovely, and I'm always seen promptly.
I unfortunately experienced a loss and both Dr. Perry and Dr. Botelho guided me through it! Dr. Perry was sure to be there every step of the way which I’m very grateful for! The staff was very supportive and showed me both love and care! Love this office!!
I can’t say enough great things about the Westchase practice. Annette at the front desk is so welcoming and kind. They treat you like family every time you come in. Dr Botelho is amazing and did everything to make sure we could follow my birth plan. The NP Lori S., is great too, she takes her time with you and truly cares. All of the staff is wonderful. I would highly recommend this practice.
I have been a patient for over 10 years and love the staff and how the treat their patients. I started going to Women’s Care after I was hospitalized at St Joseph’s Women’s at the age of 14. With my many health scares, I was always treated with the utmost respect and like a family member. They even fought with my insurance to allow me access to the right medication. Dr Clemons and Dr Botelho are such wonderful doctors that now my mother even sees them now.
