About Dr. Joseph C. Greenhaw

Joseph C. Greenhaw, MD, is a board-certified ob-gyn in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Greenhaw received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida Health Science Center, where he was chief administrative resident his last year. After his residency, Dr. Greenhaw took on many important roles at Baptist Medical Center, serving as former vice-chair of the Department of Surgery and former chair of the Prenatal Advisory Committee. He is currently the Chief of Staff at Baptist Medical Center – South and was formerly the vice-chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Greenhaw’s special interests include infertility, obstetrics, minimally invasive laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, and contraceptive technology. He also takes an interest in the medical and surgical management of benign gynecologic conditions, including in-office endometrial ablations and minimally invasive urinary incontinence surgery.

Drove in with daughter in law for her appointment at 10:30. Mine was 1:15. But they worked me in at 11 so we didn’t have to come back later. Nurse sweet and attentive. Dr Greenhaw is awesome. Best bedside manner and asked great questions- answered my questions. Great experience. I go to him yearly for my GYN needs. Highly recommend.

He was great and took the time to really talk to me. So often I find obgyns dismissive if you aren’t trying to get pregnant. This doctor took the time to help me understand the impact of my birth control and what to expect as I approach menopause. I’m grateful.
Everything was awesome! I was dreading the appointment since it was my very first OBGYN visit but Dr. Greenhaw and the nurses made as wonderful and comfortable as it possibly cope be if not more! Because of Dr. Greenhaw attention and approach I’m not afraid of Pap smears anymore :) The only issue I had is difficulty actually finding the office and the right building but it’s only because it was my first time.
I was looking for a new doctor to go to and I was pleased with the services provided. The doctor listened to me and made me feel comfortable. I will continue to go back to this office
