About Dr. Karen Saravanos

Dr. Karen Saravanos only sees patients for gynecology related visits. She is board certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will be seeing gynecologic patients only. Her special interest is in adolescent gynecology. Dr. Saravanos earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Strong Memorial Hospital and the University of Rochester’s associated hospitals. Dr. Saravanos lives in Tampa with her husband and two children. She also has family in Greece and speaks Greek fluently.

I cannot say enough about Dr Karen Saravanos. She is by far the most competent, knowledgable and caring GYN I have ever seen for any GYN needs . She takes the time to talk to you in such a loving way that you have to keep going back for your annual even when you live over 2 hours away. Thank you Dr Saravanos for all you do! Eileen K
I’ve seen Dr Saravanos for several years. She is incredibly nice, and is of course professional. I have recommended her to friends. Additionally the office is run well. The team is nice and they run on time.
From the check in through the exam and then the check out this was a WONDERFUL experience. Staff and doctor were very friendly and put me at ease.
