About Lindsey Boyd
Lindsey H. Boyd, CNM, is a seasoned, dynamic, and results-oriented Certified Nurse Midwife who builds close, trusting relationships with pregnant women and their partners. With over 17 years of experience, she is deeply familiar with the Jacksonville community, having lived and worked here since 2003. Lindsey communicates clearly and compassionately, explaining various aspects of pregnancy and birth while respecting each patient's wishes and prioritizing their safety.
She earned her Master's in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Florida, further strengthening her expertise. Lindsey previously served as a Senior Nurse Midwife at Naval Hospital, Twentynine Palms, California, providing care in the hospital's walk-in Contraceptive Clinic and childbirth education programs.
Her demonstrated skills include Patient and Community Relations, Strategic and Operational Planning, Safety and Risk Management, Innovation and Change Management, Patient Development, and Team Leadership. Lindsey holds certifications in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, ALSO, AWHONN, Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring, Florida ARNP License, DOD DEA Certification, and is Board Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
Well-versed in using various technical equipment, Lindsey excels at collaborating with Doctors, GPs, Residents, Nurses, and Clinical and Administrative Staff. A proud Navy Veteran, she is returning home to Jacksonville after eight years.
