About Dr. Maruja Fernandez

Dr. Maruja Fernandez is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Being a third-generation OB/Gyn, she believes in comprehensive, individualized care for her patients. Dr. Fernandez is a graduate of the University of Oviedo School of Medicine in Spain. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada in Reno and her OB/GYN training at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. Married and with two children, she resides in Tampa. Dr. Fernandez enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as skiing and biking.
