About Renèe Pinheiro
Rene Pinheiro is a physician assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
She earned both her Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida, where she studied at the Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. Additionally, she completed a post-baccalaureate in biomedical science.
Rene has a special interest in urogynecology and minimally invasive procedures for diagnosing and treating disorders of the female reproductive system and pelvic floor.
She is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Urogynecological Association.
Rene’s primary supervising physician is Jennifer Watson, DO.

Maybe I caught Renee on a bad day, but wow, she was the coldest, most unempathetic provider I have ever met. After explaining the acute symptoms I was experiencing, along with seeing another provider the previous week, she did not sense any urgency in what I was experiencing. She did an exam and did not talk or tell me how things looked or felt. She did not smile once. I feel she just brushed off my concerns. I would not recommend her to anyone as she acts like an automaton. I am driving an hour to see another provider just to avoid seeing her again. Despite Renee’s frozen demeanor, the medical assistant and front desk staff were amazing.

Experience was okay. out of pocket is pretty high, the doctor was sweet and she listened to me and made sure I wasn't uncomfortable. I would say the location was the main problem. I was giving the wrong address by this appointment setter. It needs to be fixed because I went to my appointment 4 minutes late because of this.

Just decided to start trying to have our first baby. Told all my questions to the person who walked me back and she was excellent! Said the PA would send in my birth control rx since I was switching and a prenatal. PA was quick but I didn’t get to ask any questions and had to stop her from running out the door to send in the new rxs. She was not informed I was looking to switch to a different birth control for the time being. Rx was sent to mail order incorrectly even though it needed to be started today. On-call service won’t handle rx refills on weekends, mail order won’t send rx to local pharmacy without their request, and local pharmacy won’t call mail order until tomorrow and aren’t willing to help. Not totally the PA’s fault but definitely a situation that could have been avoided! Office is also difficult to get ahold of and you wait for 30min before actually talking to somebody.
