About Robin Ryan
Deann Ryan, APRN, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner serving patients at Women’s Care in Lakeland, FL. With nearly two decades of experience in women’s health, Deann is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women throughout every stage of life.
Originally from Chicago, Deann began her career in healthcare after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Elmhurst College, where she graduated cum laude. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing with a dual focus in Nurse-Midwifery and Women’s Health at Frontier Nursing University.
Deann began her midwifery practice in 2006 and joined Women’s Care in 2016. While she previously provided full-scope midwifery care, including labor and delivery, she now focuses exclusively on office-based women’s health services. Her clinical interests include annual wellness exams, contraception management, menopause support, and managing common gynecologic conditions with a personalized and empathetic approach.
Deann’s goal is to create a welcoming environment where women feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions. She is currently accepting new patients in both Brandon and Riverview.
