About Dr. Ryan Brosch

Dr. Ryan Brosch is board eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology. He is an active member in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. A native of the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Brosch received his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors. He earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine before returning home to Tampa to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of South Florida. During his residency training, Dr. Brosch worked with the Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative to promote safe vaginal deliveries and prevent unnecessary Cesarean sections. He led quality improvement initiatives to increase provider awareness of C-section rates, and his research project focused on identifying risk factors for C-sections in mothers with growth-restricted infants. Dr. Brosch also completed surgical training at Tampa General Hospital, where he honed his minimally invasive surgical skills alongside surgeons at USF’s Center for Fibroids and Endometriosis Research and Treatment. He is also interested in high-risk pregnancies and contraceptive use. Outside of work, Dr. Brosch is an avid rock climber and fitness fanatic, and regularly participates in bodybuilding and high-intensity interval training.

I had a great experience! I went to their office for a 3rd opinion regarding my endometriosis and I felt like I was actually listen to and heard! Dr. Ryan Brosch was amazing. This was my first male OB and I feel like he listened and cared more than my previous female providers. He listened to concerns and provided suggestions to help get to the root of the problem. I loved that they also drew blood work on site and everyone was very friendly.

Dr Brosch walked me through the process before ever getting started. It was my first pap smear, so he showed me the instruments that would be used and talked through each step before I got undressed. He was very respectful of my modesty even as I was on the exam table and took care to adjust my gown. He made it clear that if I felt any pain or discomfort he would stop. I asked him to stop during the pap smear and his first question was if I would like everything out. He let me rest until I was ready, then continued. He even helped me up after, although it felt awkward at the time. He took my concerns seriously without ever talking down to me.

There was no wait time to see the doctor, receptionist and rest of the staff was Good. Doctor listened to my concerns and was knowledgeable about my problem. Recommended imp tests for that. During the checkup nurse was in the room which made me feel comfortable. Dint feel awkward being my second time with annual check. I definitely recommend him.
