About Sasha Persaud
Sasha is board certified as an advanced registered nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She's also a member of the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network and the Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH).
Sasha received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of South Florida and her master's degree in nursing from the University of Tampa. She worked as a pediatric medical and surgical nurse for more than seven years before transitioning to a family nurse practitioner. She has special interests in women's health including gynecology, adolescent education, breast cancer awareness and coping, postpartum depression, and holistic approaches to self-care and general wellness.
Each year since 2011, Sasha has volunteered as a team leader for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, practicing yoga, dancing, writing, traveling, and watching New York Yankees baseball games.

I drove 40 minutes to this appointment, but unfortunately, I wasn’t seen because I chose not to sign their arbitration consent form. I also received the online check-in link very late, which added to the frustration. Patients should be aware that this provider requires you to sign an agreement giving up your right to take any legal action in court, including jury trials, for any issues related to your care. I believe this should be explained clearly before the appointment is scheduled so patients can make an informed decision.

I’m a very anxious person when it comes to going to any sort of doctors for the first time. Everyone there was super nice and made me feel very comfortable, especially my doctor. She was a great listener, never seemed dismissive about any concerns I brought, was very knowledgeable and helpful, and even walked me through all the steps for my next appointment so I would feel at ease. I would definitely recommend her.

Having a doctor that really takes their time with you and answers all your questions is priceless! !.. She speaks to you in terms where you can understand whatever is wrong and not use medical terminology that keeps you scratching your head. I went in scared but came out smiling. Everyone in the office was lovely. The lobby and offices were clean and bright and comfortable. I have such bad medical anxiety and every single person I interacted with was absolutely wonderful. The doctor was kind and patient and willing to talk and teach when I had questions and concerns. Felt like she genuinely cared and wasn’t trying to rush me. I showed up early to do paperwork and ended up being in the exam room before my scheduled appointment. Only waited 5-10 minutes past the scheduled time before the doctor came to see me. I had to wait in the lobby after my appointment to do blood work. Waited maximum 5 minutes. Jeanette took my blood and was amazing. One try and didn’t hurt a bit. Great bedside manners. Very comfortable with moving forward in my treatment with this practice and would recommend highly.

Sasha and the nurses were absolutely amazing. I was nervous and she took her time, explained everything to me, and made me feel beyond comfortable. While going to any doctor makes me nervous, I would not be nervous stepping into her office in the future! I will highly suggest her to anyone I know!
