Sharon Desmarais, MD, is a board-certified ob-gyn in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Desmarais received her medical degree from the University of Florida in 2002 and completed her residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in 2006. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Denbo has been a member of Women’s Care since 2006 and is a member of the American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons. Her special interests include minimally-invasive surgery and adolescent medicine.

The entire staff was lovely! I was seen exactly at my appointment time, and there was no wait to see the doctor. Dr. Desmarais was friendly, informative, and professional. I felt comfortable the entire time I was there. Everything made this experience is good as possible. I will definitely be returning to this office in the future!

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Sharon during my annual check-up. She was incredibly understanding and took the time to explain everything to me with a smile. We even chatted about our kids, which made the visit feel so comfortable and personal. I highly recommend her!
But the wait was a little longer than expected even though I sign in from home .

Dr. Desmarais is the best. She talks to you like you are best friends. She's genuine and listens to all of your questions or concerns. The office is great and I was taken back before my appointment time. I was in and out in a very short time. Dr. Desmarais and the office get 5 stars.

So I meant to schedule a regular checkup but I scheduled it at a women’s clinic, so I had a very unexpected breast exam and Pap smear.
This office was so welcoming; I realized as soon as I walked in that this was a true women’s clinic. The staff was very non judgmental and all women. My Pap smear and breast exam was the least bit weird.
They did not admonish me about my sexual history. And the doctor seemed to really care about me even though she examined me for about ten minutes total. But seeing as I thought I was there for a regular checkup, 20/10.
That doctors office is exactly the vibe you want as a lady

Dr Desmarais was very attentive to my concerns, explained the plan for the visit and how to rule out some concerns and what to look for during and after the visit. She was to the point, conclusive and adressed everything during the visit so I left with weight off my shoulders! Highly recommend!

It was my first time seeing a gynecologist and getting a pap smear, but they were so kind and reassuring. The doctor and staff communicated well and were friendly. It was definitely a judgment-free zone, which I was worried about beforehand. I would recommend this doctor and Women’s Care to anyone. It was a very positive experience, all things considered, and I feel very lucky to be a patient there.

Making an appointment was a breeze. I didn't have to spend an enternity on the line waiting to talk to a live person. Within a minute I was talking to Amanda.
