About Summer Price
Summer Price, APRN, is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in breast surgery and the treatment of breast disease including breast cancer.
Summer is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
After graduating with her Associate's degree in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College, Summer worked as a Registered Nurse for over 15 years in local community hospitals throughout the Tampa Bay region. She has experience in a variety of settings with a focus in Women's Health, including surgical services, neonatology, obstetrics, maternal-newborn, and gynecological services. Her passion for women’s care led her to return to Frontier Nursing University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Nursing with advanced training as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Summer was born and raised in Plant City, Florida and a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, reading, traveling, shopping, and saltwater fishing.
