About Tanya Hunt
Tanya Hunt is a Nurse Practitioner who has been caring for patients at our practice since 2009.
She received both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. After graduating with her Bachelors, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Winnie Palmer Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Her passion for women’s care led her to return to the University of Central Florida to pursue a Master of Science degree in Nursing with advance training as a Family Nurse practitioner. She is a member of the Central Florida Advanced Practice Council and Golden Key National Honor Society. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and enjoying outdoor activities.
Tanya currently cares for patients at our Oviedo and Winter park offices.

Tanya was very kind and knowledgeable but the receptionist had a bothered demeanor and made me initially not confidence in my choice given this was my first time coming here. I don’t know if it’s cause I’m younger than the average patient but she was not friendly in anyway during the check-in and was making zero effort to be polite while rescheduling me when leaving my appointment. It was a human mistake to choose a day that works for me that happened to be a weekend given the timeframe Tanya gave me. “That’s a Sunday ??” was the receptionist’s response. I just think the people who are your first impressions of an office should be more kind and welcoming and we should treat people with decency and not like they’re automatically an idiot. I’m literally someone’s daughter.

Dr. Tanya and her staff are awesome. Since I've relocated I have been looking for a doctor. Initially, I was not crazy about the 45-minute drive BUT it was worth it. She is very kind and moves quickly but you don't feel rushed. I'm glad I found this office!

Tanya was one of the best providers I’ve ever seen! She made me feel comfortable, everything was quick and easy, and the office was super clean.
I still mask due to having suffered from long covid for two years, and she was the only provider I’ve ever had ask me if I’d like her to mask as well, which I’m sure many immunocompromised patients would appreciate.
Lightyears from my old doctor’s office. Made them look like a frat house in comparison.

Tanya Hunt is very kind. As a new patient she asked questions about my health and listened to my concerns. Due some circumstances of what we discussed she took the initiative to have me come in for a Pelvic Ultrasound. She is the best doctor I’ve ever had and I’m 61!

I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment with Tanya Hunt, APRN. She was friendly and talked me through everything she was doing, which helped ease my anxiety as this was my first visit to an OBGYN. The front desk and nursing staff I interacted with were also kind and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

My friend recommended me and it was the best experience. I have been having a hard time with birth control and my period. I felt crazy for having intense mood swings, but she was great at listening and suggesting multiple options as to where to start to isolate what’s going on with my body.

Wonderful! I scheduled my appointment before the year was up and they made sure to call me and ask if I wanted to reschedule so that insurance wouldn’t charge me. I really appreciated that and know that many doctors offices won’t go out of their way like that. Tanya Hunt also went out of her way to make sure I got any prescription refills that may have been needed. Love this office!
