About Dr. Tara Lynn Sosna

Dr. Tara Sosna is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Sosna earned her baccalaureate degree with a double major in Cell and Molecular Biology and Psychology, and a minor in Pharmacology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1995. She was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor’s Society, and the Dean’s List. She earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2000. Dr. Sosna completed her internship and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the John’s Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 2004. Dr. Sosna has been active in international community service and volunteer medical work in Israel, Central and South America.

This office made me feel really comfortable, and I felt like Dr. Sosna and her aid were really listening. My wait time was excellent 10-15 minutes from my arrival until Dr. Sosna came into the room. Natalie - one of the doctors assistants, who took my blood pressure/weight, and went over the intake forms was extremely kind and she took the time to clarify my medical history. I also feel Dr. Sosna is a good listener and was knowledgeable in addressing my health concerns.

Everybody that came after me got called in before I did. Also they charged me such an expensive price even though I have insurance…
The physicians at Women's Care Florida in Brandon are some of the best. Dr. Sosna delivered our son via cesarean in 2017 with no complications and minimal scarring. Her bed side manner is refreshing, calming and reassuring. I'm in my second pregnancy with this office and the entire front office staff, nurses and doctors are welcoming and friendly every time.
Everyone at Dr. Sosna’s office are super friendly. They put you totally at ease. Dr. Sosna is awesome! She meets and greats with you in her office , then she herself takes you to the examination room. She then waits outside until you are ready and enters and introduces one of her staff who accompanies her while I am being examined. I would definitely recommend her and her office personnel.

From the moment you find out you are pregnant it's stressful trying to find a good practice,specially now a days, from the moment I walked in I saw nothing but smiles ! The front desk girls "chyanne" and "Kiana" were super courteous and polite and the check-out girl "Leidy" helped us with all we needed as far as future appointments go. Dr. Sosna answered all our questions and made my husband and I feel very happy to be part of their practice. I have nothing but great things to say about this office ! I even received a thank you note in the mail which means so much to people like me ! I can't wait to come back and meet the other Doctors ! Stay Awesome !!!
Wonderful staff! The new building is beautiful and very convenient to get your mammograms, bloodwork, and yearly checkups all in one day and one visit :) and of course Dr Sosna is my favorite! Very personable and she delivered both of my baby boys.
