Dr. Wilson believes that individualized health education can be more powerful than prescriptions, and she spends a good deal of time engaging in this as well as searching for helpful resources for her patients. Dr. Wilson has been asked to join the Missouri Nutrition Alliance this year! Dr. Wilson has been married for over 30 years. She and her husband raised two sons, West and Henry Boone, in Columbia. Her boys now live in New York City and Chicago respectively, and she adores visiting them. Her husband, Bruce, is retired from teaching high school social studies and now raises cattle and trains ranch horses. Dr. Wilson enjoys cooking, reading, attending the True False Film Festival/movies at Rag Tag Cinema, yoga and Pure Barre, amateur gardening, and she never tires of traveling nor trying new restaurants. .
