Dr. Alan Poon DDS

Great!!!!

I haven't been to a dentist in six years and Dr. Poon made me feel welcome as if I'd been seeing him for years. I had a great conversation with him and he walked me through everything that was going to be done. I would recommend Dr. Poon to anyone! Can't wait to go back in six months.

I had a great experience at Dr. Poon's office. Dr. Poon is professional and has an excellent chairside manner. He explains to you everything that he does, e.g., going over your X-rays with you and describing polishing of your teeth. I appreciated that he was sensitive to my sensitive teeth, making sure not to apply water or air pressure and always asking me if I was comfortable (which I was). Dr. Poon also showed me proper brushing and flossing technique, which I somehow did not know for my whole life until now. The office is newly remodeled with state-of-the-art equipment. All staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

My visit with Dr Alan Poon exceeded my expectations. I have been going to the same dentist since I was 7 years old and I recently moved to the area. I was hesitant to go to someone new. Everyone in the office was professional and friendly and Dr. Poon has excellent bedside manner and is very thorough. My appt was on a Friday at 5pm and he spent over 90 minutes directly with me. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new dentist!

Dr. Poon was reassuring and very friendly. I let him know ahead of time that I was very apprehensive about the whole procedure. He made sure that I was in a comfortable state, before we started the procedure. The overall experience was great.

Overall, I found Dr. Poon to be knowledgeable and friendly. I usually hate going to the dentist because I've had cleanings in the past that are painful, but this cleaning was not painful at all, yet thorough. I felt Dr. Poon took his time and was able to answer all my questions.

Just went to see Alan Poon since I am new to the area and he was really kind and spent plenty of time with me. I was late and he still saw me when he didn't need to and they didn't harass me about it even though I could tell it wasn't conducive to the office schedule. He spent LOTS of time with me and was honest about my teeth and not flossing while still being nice and understanding. Definitely use him.

Alan was very helpful when explaining each procedure. He made me feel comfortable and well informed. The staff was very friendly as well.

I highly recommend Dr. Alan Poon. He is extremely careful and make sure you are comfortable throughout your whole session. Also, the new digital x-rays are really cool. Definitely 5 star experience!!

Very impressed. Attentive to my needs and compassionate. He also gave me options that would fit more in my budget without swaying me to have additional or expensive procedures that I could not afford or did not want. He spent almost two hours with me taking his time and going over and beyond than any other dentist I have visited. A +++ and I will definitely refer my friends to him as a result of my experience.

Loved him! He was thorough, explained everything in detail and understandably, made recommendations without bulldozing a particular choice, and went to a lot of extra effort to accommodate some problems I have which make dental visits difficult. He's a gem, and I'll keep going there as long as I live in the area.

Dr. Poon was by far the most approachable and down to earth dentist I've met with. Being that I've had tons of bad experiences with numerous dentists, it was refreshing to meet a young and intelligent Doctor. He was very professional from the minute I met him and was willing to walk me through and explain to me the procedures. He was also very honest and transparent about his services. Being the paranoid guy that I am, I did a lot of research going into my appointment because I knew there were a few things I needed him to check up and he was very, very open to that. We had a great conversation about my readings online and he generously walked me through the issue and his solution for the issue. I definitely will be coming back for my 2nd visit.

I felt very welcomed at the dental office from the receptionist, throughout my visit and left the dentist happily. Even though Alan looks young, he is very talented and helped to explain certain things that I needed to take care of and to watch out for. He gave me advice on all the questions I had which I thought was very helpful. I am glad I found this dental office!
