Dr. Caroline Barsoum DMD

I loved Dr. Barsoum! I've had really bad luck with dentists in the past. My teeth don't bother me but they are definitely not perfect, and every other dentist I've been to has laid on the horror stories and badgered me into getting back into braces or spend absurd amounts of money on other ways to "fix" my teeth. Even though I don't have any physical problems with them (my bite is off - really not that big of a deal!). Anyway, Dr. Barsoum was very nice and understanding and put things into a clearer perspective for me. I feel much more comfortable with my mouth. Not to forget of course that she did a great job cleaning my teeth! I will definitely be back again. Thanks!

I came early and although there was a little hiccup in getting xrays/paperwork from my other doctors, everything went really smoothly! In and out quickly and Dr. Barsoum was lovely! Established care, got my cleaning and in/out in 30 minutes! Location & office were great!

Dr. Barsoum and her staff were warm, friendly, and professional. Didn't have to wait at all to be seen.

Dr. Barsoum is awesome. She was super friendly and approachable, but also professional and clearly knew her stuff. I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years, and she was very understanding of my anxiety about the appointment. She also took the time to explain everything to me and my fillings were quick and painless. I'd recommend her to pretty much anybody.

In a word - superb! She and the PA Christina were extremely nice and accommodating. I had the first appointment of the day so I was taken care of immediately, they put on a Pandora station of my choice, and Dr. Barsoum did the entire cleaning herself. Almost every dental cleaning I've gone to, they made my gums bleed, were abrasive, and I was in pain/sore for the next day or two. Not one of these happened on my visit - she was thorough, gentle, and did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth. I would 100% recommend her, and the office is very clean as well (just by NYU in a brownstone). A++

Beautiful office, super nice and accommodating staff. Dr. Barsoum sat with me and just discussed everything for a little while before turning over to the assistant for x-rays. She remembered everything we talked about and I never felt like she was rushing.

She was amazing! The office was newly redone so I noticed how modern and well decorated the interior was immediately. It's in a great location too (right near NYU) and easy to get to. She was incredibly easy to talk to, very knowledgeable without being intimidated and I certainly didn't feel rushed or like I was "just another appointment." I'm going to recommend her to everyone!

Super cool, professional, nice, explained everything to me. Plus she played some really good music, which helps when you're getting your teeth cleaned. :) Would definitely recommend!

Very happy with this visit. I recently moved to NY and needed a checkup and cleaning. Dr Barsoum was kind, thorough, and had a gentle touch. Nice office& attentive staff. I'm glad I found my new dentist and will be definitely be returning to her for a few aesthetic issues.

This is going to sound like a paid advertisement written by a dumb guy, but Dr. Barsoum was literally awesome. A very stressful, multi-visit procedure was made far less stressful by her professionalism, good spirits, precision, and chair-side manner.

Super friendly assistance. Explains everything thoroughly so that you aren't lost in the really comfy chair. Saw an improvement right away and can't wait to continue treatment

She does the cleaning herself for new patients, saying she learns more that way. She also found 2 cavities my previous dentist had missed because she uses digital x-rays which have higher resolution. Highly recommended.

This appt was a breeze! Very clean place, Check-in was quick, the doctor was informative and helpful. Going to the dentist isn't the most fun thing to do, but the time passed quickly. She was gentle and communicated everything she was doing. I am going back for another consult for a mouth 'tune-up' that I know is overdue.

The dentist performed the cleaning herself (as opposed to an assistant), which is unusual and nice. Very communicative. Didn't push any unnecessary services (which is why I left my prior dentist). Zero wait time. As pleasant a dentist experience as I've ever had.

First time patient of her's. Had an early 8:30am appt, but she and her asst. were attentive and treated me great. Not a lot of paperwork, small and comfortable office, very efficient. She does the examination and cleaning herself, while explaining the processes. Uses some very new and high-tech equip (none that I've seen), like a high-pressue water pen to clean teeth, that is far more comfortable than a metal scraping hook. Wonderful dentist.

She was wonderful! As a first time patient, she sat down with me and got to know me, my history and what I was looking for in this visit. From what I can tell, the office is newly renovated, super clean, and in a perfect location. I couldn't get over how helpful and sweet Jackie at the front desk was to me! I loved it and I feel so happy now that I have found my official dentist!

I am scared of the dentist, and had not been in over a year so, I was terrified when I got there, but everything about the experience served to reassure me. I left feeling positive about how to go forward and what the long-term effects will be.

Dr. Barsoum is a thoughtful, well-spoken, and thorough dentist. Great staff. Very friendly doctor and friendly people, and very professional in terms of making sure insurance was all squared away. They have a well-equipped suite with a normal level of technology and good computer software.

She made me feel right at home. She is a real person who genuinely cares about her patients. The office is in a great location and the decor was quite calming (always good for a dentist) :)

As far as visits to the dentists go, this one was amazing. Dr. Barsoum and staff were extremely polite and walked through everything they were going to do. Aside from filling out some paperwork, there was no wait time. Looking forward to my next visit and will definitely be referring friends to see Dr. Barsoum.
