Meet Dr. Akhikar, a man who truly loves his profession! Dr. Akhikar joined 1st Family Dental in 2006, and since that time, he has logged more than 700 hours of extra training and continuing education in order to always stay current with changing techniques and technologies. Dr. Akhikar's specialties include family general dentistry, as well as cosmetic services to improve your smile. Dr. Akhikar practices in our clinics in Elgin and Aurora, and when he's not practicing dentistry or hitting the books to learn a new technique, he loves to spend time with his family.
