I have seen dentists in various cities: Boston, Houston, Orlando, St. Pete/Tampa, DC area, and Dr. Mitra is by far my favorite. Great office, with latest tech that makes their performance top notch. Most of all both the Office Manager and Dr. Mitra are stellar people. From appointment making, reminders, direct and consistent communication to the actual dental services, everything is consistent, concise, and with utmost kindness and care. I actually look forward to going to their office and would 100% recommend Merrifield Dental Associates !!

Everyone at Merrifield Dental Associates was very friendly. Dr. Davaninejad explained everything she was doing and provided great advice for maintaining my teeth. I had whitening treatment done after my cleaning and I love my bright smile.

I’ll recommend this place to anyone! Dr Mitra was very clear on the health of my teeth and gums. They did 3D scans and explained all the concerns they had. She answered all the questions I had without any judgement and didn’t feel rushed. Treatment plans were clear as well. The staff was extremely friendly and patient! Couldn’t give a better review of this place.

Dr. Davaninejad was compassionate and eager to solve problem. My situation with my teeth was very complicated. Dr. D. began to search for solutions and obtained information from the past history to inform the diagnosis. She did not hesitate to provide more than the standard time of an appointment and went the extra mile with the patient. I will seek her services in the future and recommend her to my relatives.

I was beyond impressed by the entire staff from the dentist to the receptionist. They were professional, genuine, knowledgeable and friendly. Honestly, its probably the best dental experience I have ever had. Nobody really looks forward to going to the dentist, but I am far less weary and apprehensive of my procedures knowing I have such a supportive and caring staff looking out for me. Kudos to them.

I went in for a regular cleaning, and had a great experience at this dentist. She was very thorough and clear throughout the whole process, even taking before and after pictures to show the difference from before and after cleaning which I really appreciated. I've already referred more of my family to her and they have had great experiences too :)

I hadn't been to the dentist in several years and knew I had several problems with me teeth that needed attention.
The doctor was excellent at diagnosing the issues in a respectful manner and laying out the treatment options and gave me a referral to an oral surgeon to investigate one of the options she suggested.
Look, no one likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Davaninejad has an excellent communication style. Also, unlike most dentists where a hygienist does the cleaning, the dentist herself (along with an assistant) did the cleaning. I also liked that she took pictures of my teeth before and after cleaning so she could show me the issues that I need to get taken care of.

My appointment here was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentists office. From the receptionist (who is super friendly and welcoming) to the actual cleaning and chat with the dentist herself, everything was great. They are also extremely honest. No unnecessary procedures or expensive upgrades were suggested. Dr. D suggested inexpensive ways to maintain good dental health at home. I am so grateful to have found this place and definitely plan on going back.

I cannot say I have ever enjoyed a dental visit and was nervous about today, as this was my first visit to this dentist (and my third try at finding a dentist in this area). I've also been dealing with an issue that has had me stressed about visits. Well, I should not have worried!
I was blown away by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, from the front desk to the doctor herself. The office is modern, clean, and inviting. Even the x-rays, of which I'm not a fan, were done quickly and painlessly (and thoughtfully, with a bit of petroleum jelly to make less uncomfortable).
The doctor was very thorough, reviewed everything, and immediately put me at ease. She was so friendly, and also made me worry less about my endodontic issue. The appointment was as quick (but thorough) as a good cleaning can be, and in under an hour I was on my way (after setting my next appointment, as she is definitely now our family dentist).
I cannot recommend this office highly enough and gladly give five stars!

Really good experience with Dr. Davaninejad and all the staff in her office. My teeth cleaning was extremely gentle with great results. She always warned me when it might get a little uncomfortable so that she could focus on an area for a little longer to get a thorough clean. I haven’t been to the dentist in a very long time and I was very nervousness but she and her assistant were so friendly and kind and they really put me at ease. She answered all my questions and came up with a great plan for my dental care going forward. I’m very happy with my experience here!
