I practice individual psychodynamic psychotherapy with medication management and psychotherapy combined. In my training and experience split treatment does not provide adequate time or knowledge for optimal treatment. I tailor therapy to meet the patient's needs, i.e. less complex problems require briefer therapies.
I am an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and a Clinical Instructor at both Georgetown and George Washington University Schools of Medicine.
I have a subspecialization in Psychosomatic Medicine with a specific focus in conditions involving both psychiatric and general medical conditions.
